2018 was a remarkable year for Bruce, marked by a series of prestigious projects that underscored his exceptional talent and visionary leadership in the film and advertising industries. Among his significant accomplishments was executive producing a high-profile corporate commercial for ADNOC, the largest crude oil supplier in the Middle East. This project demonstrated Bruce’s ability to handle large-scale, impactful productions with finesse.
In addition, Bruce played a pivotal role in launching Heineken’s new beer in Mozambique, crafting a captivating commercial that resonated with audiences and highlighted the brand’s innovative spirit.
Notably, 2018 also saw Bruce’s creative prowess extend into screenwriting. He developed a screenplay titled “The Shaper,” which garnered financing from the NFVF. This feature film, set to be produced by his company in the near future, promises to be a compelling addition to his portfolio.
Bruce’s directorial and production talents shone brightly with the release of the feature film “SAMSON,” which premiered in over 800 cinemas across the U.S.A. This epic narrative captivated audiences and showcased Bruce’s storytelling expertise on a grand scale.
Adding to his impressive repertoire, extreme adventurer Chris Bertish enlisted Bruce as the Executive Producer for his world-record documentary, “THE LAST KNOWN COORDINATES.” This feature documentary chronicles Bertish’s awe-inspiring solo journey across the Atlantic on a stand-up paddleboard, highlighting Bruce’s ability to bring extraordinary real-life stories to the big screen with profound impact.

With over 25 years of experience in the film and television industry, Craig Jones, or “CJ” as he is known within the industry, is a seasoned and accomplished Executive Producer. Having produced more than 900 TV commercials both locally and internationally, CJ’s portfolio is a testament to his extensive expertise and visionary leadership in production.
Craig’s remarkable career also includes the production of three acclaimed feature documentaries—The Parlotones, The Springbok Nude Girls, and the award-winning Buli. His repertoire extends further to three feature films: The Perfect Wave, Van Der Merwe, and Samson, all of which have enjoyed global theatrical releases. Currently, Craig is developing four feature films, working diligently to secure financing both in South Africa and internationally, solidifying his position as a driving force in the world of cinema.

Veeral Ranchod brings a unique blend of business acumen and creative passion to Boomtown Productions. With a background in information systems and business management, Veeral’s career began in the business world, where he quickly established himself as an innovator. He co-owns a pharmaceutical business and was once in a manufacturing company specializing in the international distribution of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
However, it is Veeral’s deep passion for the media industry that led him to his true calling. After founding a successful sports management agency and creating a trading house connecting Malaysia and South Africa, Veeral joined Boomtown in 2018. Since then, he has leveraged his diverse experience to help guide the company’s projects and partnerships, bringing a sharp strategic vision and entrepreneurial spirit to every production.
